Colonia newsletter nr.1 - March

Hello Colonians!

Time has finally come to the newsletter era. You will recive a newsletter every month with information from ByggVesta, the board and the Activity Group.

So, if you're interested in what is going on in, and with, Colonia remember to keep your eyes on the billboards, the newsletter and on the Colonia website www.colonia.nu.

You will also be able to read the newsletters online. Some information must still go out trough snailmail though.

If you recieve this newsletter but shouln't, inform the Area Officer Hampus Kensing.

Lottery winners

As you probably know we had a survey to find out what you resident think about Colonia, thank you for all answers. We promised ten winners of two movie tickets each.

These are the winners:

• Series B (green ticket): nr56, nr85, nr86
• Series E (white ticket): nr1, nr34, nr91
• Series R (yellow ticket): nr37, nr46
• Series T (blue ticket): nr38

If you're number is drawn, come by the office and collect your prizes.

Colonia office hours

The Colonia office is located in studievägen 5, bottom floor. The Officehours are:

• Tuesdays 14 - 17
• Wednesdays 14 - 17
• Thursdays 16 - 19

You will be met by either Area Officer Hampus Kensing, Student Housing Development Manager Sean Whiting or Office Assistant Erik Martines Sanches. Here you can borrow vacuum, iron & ironing board, electric screwdriver, tools and a projector.

You can also settle a time for a meeting.

Door signs and port telephone

If you've noticed that your name aren't in all the places that it should, inform ByggVesta.

The port telefon should be connected with your cellphone number, if it isn't report that to ByggVesta aswell, or let the Area Officer know.

Studie rooms and G-punkten

There are studierooms on the bottom floor in studievägen 5. On the first and second floor between studievägen 9a and 9b and on the first floor on 9c.

The studie room on the first floor between 9a and 9b is reservable three hours per week and person.

From Januari the common room G-punkten opened up again after it was closed down due to mismanagement. From now on the Board is in charge. The new rules specify that you can no longer reserve the common room for a party with lots of friends that are not residents in Colonia without paying a fee of 300 kr.

Billboards

The billboards are devided into three sections. Information from ByggVesta, from the Board and the Activity Group and from others.

If you want to post anything it must be approved in the Colonia Office. If not, it will be removed directly.

Fika Tuesday

The Board holds fika in G-punkten from 1900 o'clock every tuesday. The prizes are very low and the company is great.

The Activity Group acknowledges

The Activity Group would like to thank everybody that participated in the poker turnament. If was so much fun that will do it again sometime.

Remember to keep your eyes and ears open for future events. Like sittning at flamman. Cheese and Win try outs and outdoor events.
