A Cookie is information in a text file which is stored on your hard drive. Cookies are used on colonia.nu strictly for technical purposes to be able to make a better web site for you. No information about you or your activities on the page is being saved.
If you don't check the option "Remember me on this computer", Colonia.nu will only use session cookies. This means that an id number is stored for as long as your browser window is open, to identify you as the one being logged in from your account.
With the option "Remember me on this computer" checked, a permanent cookie will be stored on you hard disk, and this will be used to identify you. Your password will NOT be saved in this computer.
